Strolling Pond Garden

The main feature in the Strolling Pond Garden is obviously the pond itself. This pond is irregularly shaped and its waters are very calm. The still water offers the observer a chance for reflection. At its narrowest point the pond is normally adorned with a curved moon bridge. From this bridge the observer can view many of the other features of the pond. Koi fish are one of these features. Plants that encircle the pond as well as water lilies resting on top of it, provide shade for the fish. Large stones can be seen jutting out of the water. These stones can be interpretted as animals or islands in the water. Benches are placed around the pond, where the observer can relax and take in the beauty of the pond.
